Chapter 01: Remembering their first dance.

Oh she still smiles thinking about their first date. A shy little girl wonder how she caught his attention. She is often passed unnoticed but not this time. Maybe it was her moves that caught his attention she has her way with dance. So he walked out across the room and elegantly barged into a conversation, she didn’t mind. She couldn’t help but notice his sparkly eyes, 'ojos asi' she said to herself, she had never seen eyes like those before. So they began to talk, exchanged their numbers and parted ways for the day.

She was away with her friends but lost talking to him over chat application, she was starting to like his story. 'uh oh!'. Just out of an unsuccessful love affair she was completely miserable. Gullible enough to believe anything said to her., she wanted to feel good again, to be loved, to be remembered.

He was no different at that point, trying to get over his ex, trying to feel good. "Good Morning Sunshine", "Good Morning Sweet Thing" , "Sweetheart", "Love" adjectives were too many to use. He asked her out for a party. She agreed without hesitation, she had never been to a club she confessed, that's okay. He promised to make her first time special, she was excited.

The night arrived, she put on her best new dancing shoes and asserted to her mother that she wouldn't be home before midnight. He picked her up in his car just a street across her home. This was the first time they were meeting after the dance practice, they both spoke about random things, like they knew each other for a long time now. They both realized that they were trying to get over their past so before they moved out of the car they vowed that they would keep all their stories aside for the night and have a good time.

They entered the club she was anxious for the first few minutes, until they reached a sofa in the dim light, the DJ was playing a remixed version of "I Will Survive - Gloria Gaynor" it helped her ease her self
"Oh no, not I. I will survive
Oh as long as I know how to love I know I'll stay alive"

He led her to the dance floor she was starting to get into the groove, and he seemed to like it. It soon got full with people, some high, some sober, some trying hard to get drunk, she saw a few known faces, she greeted them, they were surprised to see her there. Lil girl was just trying to be happy for the night. She continued to dance with her man of the night. He asked if she wanted a drink. "such a gentleman", She thought to herself. They went to the bar danced at the counter while the bartender made their drinks. Drinks got her tipsy now she wanted to do something crazy. She led him to the centre of the dance floor, swung her hips wild, "Damn, you move like a Brazilian girl!" he said. He was enticed, his eyes seemed pleasured from all her moves. They kissed. They were enjoying each other’s company. It was their "We found love in a hopeless place" moment and there were colourful diamonds all over the place. They danced without shame. She was grinding on him.

She still remembers that one moment when some fast track played and yet they were swinging calm with his arms on her hips and her on his shoulders, like lovers, hopelessly falling deep in love. She felt like it was just them in the room. Love was entrapping her emotions and she had no clue. But she was sane enough to not whisper the words and turn the 'Oh So Perfect' moment into an awkward one.

The last song of the night played and they danced with all blaze, it was one last time to be caught 'in flagrante'. She was contented. They started to walk out of the club and the weirdest of all thing happened. Strangers walked up to them and acknowledged their dance. "You two make one hot couple", one of the boys commented. It was just their first dance together, they laughed and he said , "look how we fooled people that we were a couple". She laughed too and thought to herself, maybe they could actually be a couple someday. Happy in love, Together, forever.

He dropped her home. Kissed her goodnight, her heart raced faster once again. "See you tomorrow at the dance rehearsals" she said and waved goodbye.

Back home on her bed she layed down with a smile, she texted him that she had a wonderful night, he texted her back after he got home, "Had a good time. Good night".

They been meeting quite often ever since, Now even after 3 months of love frolicking with him she still wanted more. They sinned a few times. she still wanted more. But she is just afraid to speak up because she doesn't want to impose her love on him, she wants to imprint it with time.
